the beginning

In early September 2016, after experiencing a wide range of symptoms including weight-loss, lack of appetite, racing heart, trouble breathing, night sweats and fluid build-up in his lungs, Nick & his wife Angela knew something was wrong and visited a doctor. After a week of testing, Nick was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma, immediately embarking on a six-to-eight month intensive chemotherapy treatment on September 21.  This regimen will keep him out of work for months so we have set up a Go Fund Me account to help them financially get through this very difficult time.

Nick is many things to many people, whatever and wherever you need him to be in any given moment, but I'm confident that his proudest role in life is to be Dad to Nora, his nine-month old daughter. Nick & Angela's lives have been upended, but they're resolute in his fight to overcome cancer. We will be updating this blog so that friends, family, and co-workers near & far can follow and support Nick in his journey.
